48 hours in London is never enough. With such limited time I managed to squeeze in and capture, the serenity and joy of the Saatchi Gallery, the ageless National Portrait gallery, talented street artists and buskers, mainstream tourist attractions, and of course busy yet isolated life on the London underground - the life-line for the ever moving city. Equinox magazine bought previous pictures of mine of a similar story photographed 19 Years ago.
Scenes of the quiet life taken in Prieska. Uplifted by the gentleness and quiet power from a solar farm, intimidated by the authority of power plants and guarding pylons, captured by the stillness and sounds of trains, and nostalgic from an era when fortunes were struck, won, and lost at the Big Hole in Kimberley. These are images captured from a trip to the Northern Cape, where the horizon is endless, the silence deafening,in a place where we can connect with the history of our being.
